Probably because your account has not enabled the log file. Log into your cpanel using the username and password that was sent to you upon signing up for web hosting. www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel (replace "yourdomainname.com" with your real domain).

1. Find the section called "Logs".
2. Click "Choose Log Programs".
3. Put a checkmark into the program you wish to enable. If you are unsure, check them all.
